Mark your calendars! Van Winkle is hosting the fourth annual fundraising event, the Shoot for Literacy, in support of the Matthew E. Russell Foundation.

This year’s event is scheduled for September 27, 2019 at the Garland Mountain Sporting Clays facility in Waleska, Georgia (that’s the same venue as last year, folks!) Last year, we raised $65,000 with the help of 100 participants, and look forward to an even bigger success at this year’s event!

The shoot includes awards and bragging rights for our first place sharpshooters as well as raffles for fabulous prizes! The Matthew E. Russell Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides traditional books and e-books to students in the rural areas of the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Additionally, the Foundation establishes libraries in schools that have not had the funds to invest into reading programs and education.
