Villas at Canterfield of Kennesaw porte cochere

The Villas at Canterfield of Kennesaw Independent Living

Medical Development Corporation selected Van Winkle Construction to build The Villas at Canterfield of Kennesaw Independent Living facility. The new facility sits adjacent to the existing Assisted Living Facility to provide a convenient location for every level of care need.

North Avenue Presbyterian Church

Van Winkle’s fourth project on the historic North Avenue Presbyterian Church included re-imagining the building’s entryways and the complete refurbishment of the church’s existing buildings: the original sanctuary, a three-story building built in the 1960s, and a four-story building from the 1920s. The project unifies the existing space and completely modernizes the historic sanctuary while preserving the building’s classic architecture and visual presence.

Kings Ridge Christian School

This three-story addition to Kings Ridge Christian School houses the Upper School’s science and foreign language departments on the main floor. The basement features a testing and collaboration suite complete with A/V capabilities. The project scope included paving, parking, and civil engineering upgrades to the existing campus.

Fernbank Museum of
Natural History

Fernbank Museum of Natural History chose Van Winkle to create the Wildwoods interactive outdoor experiences integrated into the 65 acre Fernbank Forest.The historic and scientific importance of the surrounding forest required careful onsite preservation efforts. The project incorporated the existing trees and incorporated supports and protection for them during construction.

Reliable Automated
Sprinkler Company

This industrial design-build expansion for Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Company’s South Carolina facility included 36 acres of site work. Van Winkle placed over 8,000 cubic yards of concrete and erected approximately 800 tons of structural steel to complete this warehouse and office addition.
