COVID-19 could not stop this year’s Shoot for Literacy at Garland Mountain Sporting Clays. Together, we raised $95,000 for the Matthew E Russell Foundation. This exceeds last year’s total by $6,000! Many thanks to all participants and sponsors of our fifth annual event! None of this is possible without you. We give special recognition to high-level sponsors 84 Lumber, T&M Tilt-Up, and TMC Cranes for their generous donations and support.
Awards, Lunch, and Prizes
This year, the sharpest shooters triumphed over 36 four-man teams to be the best in their respective classes. In addition to a hearty bacon and egg breakfast, participants enjoyed a Mexican lunch of fajitas, tacos, and churros. Our gracious raffle winners returned home with one of five fabulous prize packages: Franchi OU rifle, Traeger 22 in pellet grill, POTEK portable generator, and one of two YETI cooler and Rambler packages.
