Whitefield Academy of Mableton, GA. officially opened Morris Hall with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 13. Van Winkle Construction built the 55,000 sq. ft. facility, which serves as the new upper school for the academy. Morris Hall houses Classrooms; Science Labs; Offices; and a 443-seat Black Box Theater.
The building is constructed of structural steel frame, stone exterior with plank siding and a standing seam metal roof.
Van Winkle began work in May of 2011 and finished the project on schedule, allowing Whitefield Academy to occupy the building at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.
