The City of Sugar Hill, GA chose Van Winkle Construction to build the city’s new City Hall at a special, called City Council meeting last night. Van Winkle will work with the architect, Precision Planning, Inc., during design on the three-story, 30,000 square foot building, which will house Council Chambers, City offices, meeting rooms and records storage.

Initial design of the building includes brick and stone exterior, columns and a cupola with four-sided clock on the roof. Construction is expected to take 11 months.

The City of Sugar Hill is located in northern Gwinnett County, GA and was chartered in 1939.
