Lockheed Martin Corporation has chosen Van Winkle Construction to renovate three hangar buildings on their Marietta, Georgia campus. The multi-million dollar project involves Hangars B-82, B-83 and B-84 for maintenance of C-130 aircraft.
The project scope includes roof replacement; three new 160 foot wide fabric Hangar Doors; HVAC; Electrical; Painting; new Fall Protection systems; and a new, High Expansion Foam Fire Suppression systems in each of the 18,304 square foot Hangar buildings.
Van Winkle Construction has completed multiple construction projects for Lockheed Martin Corporation since the mid-1960s.
