DESCRIPTION
This new Construction Manager at Risk satellite campus for 12Stone Church doubles as headquarters for EQUIP, John C Maxwell’s Wesleyan training organization. This three-story project is a branch of 12Stone Lawrenceville and sibling to the Braselton, Buford, Snellville, and Hamilton Mill campuses.
12Stone Church’s facilities include a sanctuary, education wing, and fellowship spaces including a café, offices, and nurseries. The John C Maxwell Center includes audio visual spaces, black box theater, and multimedia training spaces.
FEATURES
John C. Maxwell Center
The Sugarloaf campus’ John C Maxwell Center includes dedicated headquarters for EQUIP, a training program for new and established ministry leaders created in partnership with Wesley Seminary and Indiana Wesleyan University. State-of-the-art media spaces – including a 250 seat black box theater, recording studio, and video production suite – support EQUIP’s multimedia needs. Other onsite facilities including classrooms, conference rooms, and a museum support 12Stone’s onsite training programs.
Fellowship Areas and Lobby
12Stone Church Sugarloaf incorporates a cafe, warming kitchen, and multipurpose spaces to promote fellowship and socialization beyond Sunday service.
The main lobby connects these spaces and provides circulation for the congregation. The lobby features a poured-in-place monumental staircase covered with carpeting and mill work. A stainless steel and glass railing runs the length of the staircase.
Exterior Features
EIFS and manufactured stone veneer finishes cover the building’s exterior. Two combined solutions create the building’s roof: a tapered TPO system covers the majority of the building while a barrel roof of bronze standing seam metal panels envelops the sanctuary.
