FEATURES
Fellowship and Outreach Support
12Stone Church Lawrenceville’s 2,300 seat sanctuary opens into a circulation area complete with a coffee shop and full kitchen to encourage socialization after the service. These spaces also serve as fellowship areas for the congregation’s youth groups.
A state-of-the art audio visual suite complete with recording studio supports the church’s worship and community outreach.
Education Wing
The classroom wing features three theaters for the church’s elementary, middle, and high school ministries respectively.
CHALLENGES
Planning for 12 Stone Church Lawrenceville began a year in advance of the project. The 68-acre project site required extensive preparation and site work prior to construction.
Van Winkle overcame the most notable terrain challenge, a 40-foot-deep ravine at the proposed building’s front, by erecting a 110-foot-long steel bridge to serve entry and egress to the church. Construction of this bridge enabled delivery of construction materials and equipment during construction.
