DESCRIPTION
Van Winkle’s work for the Whitefield Academy Tennis Complex included resurfacing four existing courts as well as adding new facilities and site improvements. This facility shares a campus with Whitefield Academy Morris Hall, another Van Winkle project.
FEATURES
Tennis Courts
In addition to resurfacing Whitefield Academy’s four existing courts, Van Winkle constructed six new courts. The project required the excavation of 45,000 cubic yards of earth. Van Winkle relocated the earth elsewhere on the campus.
Site Improvements
Project scope included site improvements. These included the construction of four ADA parking spaces in the existing parking lot and the construction of a support building. The 1,600 square foot building provides storage and concessions for the entire complex.
