DESCRIPTION
Van Winkle constructed this series of new senior living facilities across the street from Buford’s Coolray Field: a three-story Independent living, two-story assisted living and memory care facility, and the paving work for a subdivision of independent living villas and cottages.
FACILITIES
Independent Living
The Mansions at Gwinnett Park Independent Living facility is a four-story stick frame building housing 135 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Building amenities including a full commercial kitchen, dining room, sports lounge, card room, arts and crafts room, and library. Two elevators provide access to the entire building.
Assisted Living and Memory Care
The 46-unit memory care and 48-unit assisted living coexist within a two-story wood frame building complete with two elevators and amenities. The first floor includes a media room, sports room, bistro, and an outdoor patio. The second floor includes two salons, two large activity rooms, and a partially covered terrace complete with walking paths.
FEATURES
The Mansions at Gwinnett Park features corridors between 11 and 14 feet to accommodate residents with mobility assistance devices. Both buildings feature full sprinkler installation with dry systems in the attic.
