DESCRIPTION
Gwinnett County selected Van Winkle to build the new Peachtree Ridge Park. The park provides 155 acres of recreation space including walking trails, outdoor sports complex, picnic spaces, and play areas. Scope included parking, paving, and land planning as well as ADA compliant features.
The park entrance includes Gwinnett County’s first roundabout intersection.
FEATURES
Outdoor Sports Complex and Amenities
Peachtree Ridge Park features a football complex with concessions, two soccer fields, two basketball courts, and four baseball fields. It also includes two playgrounds, group picnic pavilion, and general outdoor recreation areas.
Accessibility
The entrance and egress of Peachtree Ridge Park’s walking trails is a half-mile ADA access ramp with a covered outlook. Additionally, one baseball field, playground, and picnic pavilion feature ADA compliant surfacing and accessibility features.
