DESCRIPTION
Van Winkle collaborated with Johns Creek United Methodist Church to add a new worship facility and athletic complex to the existing church campus. The two-story facility includes a sanctuary with seating for 1,600 as well as a gathering room, bride’s room, choir room, and music room. The building also includes restrooms, mechanical systems, and elevators.
The project scope included extensive site work. Van Winkle constructed eight new athletic fields, memorial garden, and parking facilities.

Exterior Features
The new facility features a brick masonry exterior on all sides. The building’s steeple stands at 160 feet tall.
Parking and Athletic Fields
Van Winkle constructed eight new athletic fields and two parking facilities. The first, a paved lot with direct building access, incorporates 254 spaces. The second, a gravel lot, accomodates 100 parking spaces.
