DESCRIPTION
Van Winkle built the new Prince Avenue Baptist Church Worship Center in multiple phases. The two-story brick structure is an addition to the campus. It provides facilities for worship and fellowship as well as support facilities for the campus’s existing school and outdoor sports program.
FEATURES
Education and Youth Facilities
The new facility’s youth and children’s areas support the church campus’ existing school. In addition to classrooms and a nursery, the building includes a snack area and indoor basketball court for general use.
A youth assembly room, children’s assembly room, and preschool assembly room provide age-appropriate recreational space during church services.
Sanctuary and Fellowship Space
The worship center’s sanctuary seats 2,500 and connects directly to the fellowship hall. This space includes a full kitchen for special events and hospitality.
Parking Additions
Project scope included the addition of 850 parking spaces to the existing parking lot.
