Atlanta — Faith-Based
Church Construction Rooted in Atlanta

Church Construction Companies Serving Metro Atlanta
Nearly three decades of Atlanta church work
Van Winkle entered the faith-based market in 1995 with a sanctuary project for Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and Atlanta has been the center of that work ever since. We've served as church builders for congregations including 12Stone Church, completing six campuses between 2007 and 2019, and as church renovation companies for North Avenue Presbyterian Church, our fourth project on that historic Atlanta congregation. As church construction companies go, we've also declined work outside our own convictions, screening projects the way a church would want a partner to.
Built on relationships, not low bids
Church work runs on relationships more than competitive bids, and every Van Winkle project in this market starts as a negotiated conversation rather than a low-price contest. Building committees and pastors get an estimating team that treats a stewardship-of-funds question with the same seriousness the congregation does, along with a construction schedule built around ministry calendars, not just permit timelines.
Renovation, expansion, and new sanctuaries
Atlanta congregations rarely build just once. A first sanctuary becomes a fellowship hall, then a children's wing, then a second campus, and as church builders and church renovation companies we've carried many of those relationships across a decade or more. Church remodeling for an established congregation outgrowing its space calls for a different plan than a ground-up sanctuary, and our church building Contractors sequence renovation work around worship services so a congregation keeps meeting while the building changes around them. As church construction companies serving Metro Atlanta, we price the work early enough for a building committee to take a real number to its members before a stewardship campaign begins, then hold that number through construction so the project the congregation approved is the project it receives. That predictability matters more in faith-based work than almost anywhere else, because the funds behind a church build were given, not borrowed.

Church Construction in Metro Atlanta
Atlanta is home to some of the fastest-growing congregations in the Southeast, and Van Winkle has built alongside many of them. From church building Contractors handling a first sanctuary to church remodeling for an established congregation outgrowing its space, our Atlanta church work spans nearly three decades. That history has grown into a standing practice for congregations across the region: a sanctuary or fellowship hall is rarely a single transaction, and several of our longest church relationships have carried across three and four separate projects over a decade or more.
