Project Scope: This research library on African-American
Culture and History offers specialized reference and archival
collections for the study and research of Black culture.
Van Winkle built a holding area for the special collections,
a large reading room, computer rooms, a large interior atrium
and sophisticated mechanical and climate controls to house
this unique collection. The project was completed on time.
